Carolyn Mae (Hensel) Howell

Carolyn Mae Howell, 79, of Jerusalem, Ohio died Wednesday, December 23, 2020 in the Stellar Care Center, Woodsfield, Ohio.  She was born February 21, 1941 near Brownsville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Austin Hensel and Bernadine Busche Hensel Cline. 

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Howell on July 17, 2018, also by a a brother, Floyd Busche. 

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Susan Howell of Shadyside and a daughter and son-in-law, Melody and Roy Highman of Graysville; three grandchildren, Jody Howell, Eric Howell and his fiancée Megan Booth, and Kevin Highman; also five sisters, Betty, Helen, Vera Lou, Judy, and Patty.

In accordance with COVID-19 guidelines, face coverings and social distancing will be required for visitation on Sunday, December 27 from 12 noon until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 pm at Harper Funeral Home Beallsville.  Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.  Honoring Carolyn’s giving spirit, her family requests that in lieu of flowers and keepsakes memorial contributions be made in her name to the Beallsville Cemetery Association, ℅ Tom Coss, 54131 Belmont Ridge Road, Beallsville, Ohio 43716.
