Ken Darby

Ken Darby, 75, of Beallsville, Ohio died Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at his home. He was born January 17, 1946 in Beallsville, a son of the late Earl and Loree Morris Darby.  Ken was a retired foreman with Century Mine near Beallsville.  He was a member of Sunsbury Lodge #362, F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Cambridge, and a lifetime member of the Beallsville Sportsman’s Club. 

In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by five siblings, Donald “Buck,” Russell, Ilene, Helen “Sis,” and Hilda.  Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 54 years,  Rose Saner Darby; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Jennifer Darby; a daughter, Mandy Darby (Tim Tripp): a granddaughter, Megan Rose; three brothers, Leland, Bob, and Richard Darby; a sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Ernie Ferguson; several nephews and nieces, and many friends. 

Family and friends are invited to attend graveside services Friday, December 17 at 1pm in the Beallsville Cemetery with Wayne Clark officiating. In lieu of flowers and keepsakes, Ken’s family requests that memorial contributions be made to Sunsbury Lodge #362, ℅ Charles Paine, 51304 State Route 26, Beallsville, Ohio 43716.
