Nelda Ellen Moore

Nelda Ellen Moore, 95, died Friday, December 25, 2020 at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born January 26, 1925 in Armstrongs Mills, Ohio. Nelda was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law,  Ronnie and LaDonna Moore of Bethesda; a daughter and son-in-law, Marva Sue and Lawrence Pack of Jerusalem; a daughter-of-her heart, Mikki Moore (Kevin Carpenter) of Beallsville; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; several cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends, including a special friend, Molly Trigg. 

In addition to her parents, Charles and Leafa Perkins McKeen and Lester Haught, Nelda was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Moore; a son, Michael D. Moore; two sisters, Janet Gilham and Judy Albertini; also two brothers, Frank McKeen and Fred Haught.

According to Nelda’s wishes cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at a time of the family’s choosing. In keeping with Nelda’s giving spirit, in lieu of flowers and keepsakes, memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Gas Cards, Inc., ℅ Shirley Brown, 48397 Keylor Hill Road, Woodsfield, Ohio 43793.
