Sharon Rose Baker, 79, of Beallsville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021 in Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, West Virginia, after a lengthy battle with COPD.
She was born August 22, 1942 in Sardis, Ohio, a daughter of the late Glen F. and Isabelle Claugus Smith. Sharon enjoyed going on car rides, eating out, and spending time with her family and good friend, Cora Tomolonis and also with her special family member, Shirley Thomas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her oldest son, Richard Brown, II on February 26, 2021; also by a sister, Glenalee Dominick.
Surviving are a daughter, Kelly (Randy) Davis of Beallsville; two sons, Scott Brown of Beallsville and Chris Brown of Woodsfield; two brothers, Bud (Linda) Smith of Woodsfield and Blain (Judy) Smith of Beallsville; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 1 at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville from 11am until a time of remembrance at 1pm when family and friends will be invited to share stories and memories of Sharon's life. Burial will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
