Barbara Fraley Hendershot, 70, of Beallsville died Friday, January 4, 2013 in UPMC Hospital, Pittsburgh . She was born December 11, 1942 in Canton , Ohio, a daughter of the late Lester and Mildred "Mick" Thomas Fraley. She was a retired cook for the Switzerland of Ohio School District, a member of the Church of Christ, also a member of Captina Chapter 489 OES, the American Legion Auxiliary Post 228, and the Stitching Sisters Quilt Guild. Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Ronald; three sons, Dan (Susan) Hendershot of Beallsville, Dave (Robin) Hendershot of Sardis, and Darren (Carla) Hendershot of Powhatan Point; a brother, Scott (Melba) Fraley of Grove City, Ohio; six grandchildren, Jennifer ( Bryan ), Bo, Zachary, Travis, Lindsay, and Cassie; two great grandchildren, Jakob and Elena. Visitation will be Monday from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 PM with Jeff Rich officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery . Eastern Star services will be conducted Monday at 7:45 PM at the funeral home.
