Bertha Isabelle (Riley) Brandon

Bertha Isabelle Brandon, 94, of Beallsville, Ohio passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021 in the Stellar Care Center, Woodsfield, Ohio.  She was born September 16, 1927 near Beallsville to the late Frank and Myrtle (Goodrich) Riley.

Bertha was always happy to spend time with her beloved family and she was a blessing to them all.  She enjoyed simple pleasures like taking walks on the family farm, gardening, and making homemade ice cream.

Left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Phyllis (Steven) Kehayas of Beallsville; a son, Stanley (Brenda) Brandon, Jr. of Beallsville; seven grandchildren, Michele (John) Smith, Susan (Matt) Guthrie, Phillip (Kim) Brandon, Philippe (Amber) Kehayas, Nate (Emily) Brandon, Adrian (Trinity) Kehayas, Antenea (Aaron) Redcay; ten great-grandchildren including one expected this month; several great-great-grandchildren; a brother, James Riley; a sister, Roberta (Carl) Chadwell; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Riley, and many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, Bertha was preceded in death by her loving husband, Stanley; a son, Phillip Brandon; a daughter, Sharon Brandon; a brother, George Riley; and a sister and friend, Louise Fearon. 

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
