Brenda Stalder, 65, of Beallsville, Ohio passed from this earth on Tuesday, June 04, 2019 while a patient in the Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, West Virginia. She was born October 4, 1953 in Bellaire, Ohio, the youngest daughter of the late Harry and Gladys Hudson Decker. Brenda was a member of the Beallsville Church of Christ, an employee of the Switzerland of Ohio Local School District, a 4-H Advisor for 30 years, and a member of the Monroe County Livestock Sale Committee. Of all the activities and organizations in which Brenda was involved, in her heart and mind, her greatest joy in life was that of being the wife of a farmer and a loving grandmother to her 17 grandchildren. Her afternoons and evenings were often filled with ballgames, wrestling matches, 4-H meetings, and school events, but she never complained because this was the life that made her happiest. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Liam Stalder; her brother, Harry Decker; and her mother-in-law, Juanita Stalder. Left to mourn her passing are her devoted husband of nearly 47 years, Glen Stalder, Jr.; her children, Krista (Ted) Bommer, Amy (Michael) Louden, Jesse (Lindsay) Stalder, Elizabeth (Derrick) Landefeld, Sarah (Michael) Aberegg, and Carrie (Chris) Wilson; the loves of her life, her grandchildren, Theo, Hallie, and Miley Bommer; Chad and Ashlie Louden; Luke Stalder and her little angel, Liam Stalder; Dylan, Drew, Dane, and Davin Landefeld; Jaxon, Colton, and Alyssa Aberegg; Julianna, Cooper, and Kolby Wilson; her sister, Sharon (Roy) Brannon; her father-in-law, Glen Stalder, Sr.; nieces, nephews, and many friends. Visitation will be Thursday, June 6 from 2pm to 8pm at the Beallsville Church of Christ where funeral services will be held Friday, June 7 with Minister Collin Morrison presiding. Interment follows in Beallsville Cemetery. In keeping with Brenda's giving spirit, in lieu of flowers, her family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Monroe County 4-H Endowment Fund. Checks should be made payable to "The Ohio State University Foundation" and may be mailed to, 1480 West Lane Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43221. On the memo line, please include: "Monroe 4-H Account #645019." Donations may also be made at the funeral home.
