Cecil G. Craig, 90, of Alledonia, Ohio died Sunday, April 16, 2017 at his home. He was born near Hunter in Belmont County, a son of the late Emmett and Lizzie Moore Craig. Cecil was a retired truck driver for Sacco Brothers Trucking. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII where he served in the 93rd Chemical Mortar Battalion and he was a member of the VFW. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie; a son, Mickey; a brother, Leland Craig; and a sister, Elaine Gatten. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Marsha Craig of Duffy; a daughter-in-law, Rebecca Craig of Waterford; four grandchildren, Terry (Carla) Craig, Jr. of Alledonia, Mundy (Scott) Mellott of Beallsville, Jackie (Phillip) Perkins of Beallsville, Mikki Craig of Marietta; two great-grandchildren, Breann and Tyler Craig. Visitation will be held Friday, April 21 from 11am until the time of the funeral service at 1pm with Wayne Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Belmont Ridge Cemetery, near Beallsville.
