Charles W. Christ, 92, formerly of Beallsville, Ohio, died Saturday, January 16, 2016 in the Arbors at Streetsboro, Streetsboro, Ohio. He was born November 26, 1923 in Akron, Ohio, a son of the late Ludlow "BeBe" Samuel and Mary Edith Headley Christ. Charlie was a retired machinist for F C Machine, Cuyahoga Falls; a US Army Veteran, serving in the Glider Infantry during WWII; also he was a member of the Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Rogers Christ on August 2, 2001; a son, Roger Christ, and a brother, Chester Christ. Surviving are two sons, James Christ of Akron and Dean (Ruth) Christ of Georgia; a daughter-in-law, Connie of Spencer, WV; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 21 at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville from 11 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1 PM with Charlie's son, Minister James Christ officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
