Clara Bell Bartimus, 78, of Beallsville, Ohio died Monday, February 10, 2020 at her home. She was born August 14,1941 in Marshall County, West Virginia, the first born of six children of the late Harley and Mabel Parker Gallaway. Clara was retired from 5B's Sewing Factory in Barnesville where she worked as a seamstress and she was a proud member of Beallsville American Legion Auxiliary #768. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bartimus on December 24,1995 and a grandson, Shawn Mallett on May 18, 2019. Clara is survived by a special friend, Cliff Rush; three children, Linda (Mark) Duvall, Randy Bartimus, and Karen (Lance) Kuhlwein; six grandchildren, Tiffany (Matt) Milhoan, Jessica (Tyler) Davis, Alexa Bartimus, Cole Bartimus, Rachel Kuhlwein, and Cameron Bartimus; six great-grandchildren, Aiden Milhoan, Camden Milhoan, Brilynn Milhoan, Brielle Chaney, Teagan Davis, and Tytus Davis; a sister, Helen Ankney; also many friends. Visitation will be Thursday, February 13 at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm, where funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, February 14 with Wayne Clark officiating. Burial follows in Beallsville Cemetery. American Legion Auxiliary services will be conducted Thursday at 7:30pm at the funeral home.
