Connie Lou (Johnson) Ward

Connie Johnson Ward, 82, of Beallsville, Ohio passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, July 23, 2022.  She was born January 15, 1940 near Beallsville, a daughter of the late Arley and Beulah Bolon Johnson. 

Connie was a member of the Beallsville First Christian Church and had proudly served as an active member of the Beallsville EMS for 32 years while also working as the billing clerk for the Monroe County Board of EMS. 

Left to cherish Connie's memory are her loving husband of 64 years, Bill Ward; three children, Pam (Dan) Stewart, Lisa (Larry) Burkhart, and John “Bubba” Ward; three granddaughters, Sasha (Mark) Lawson, Ciera (Luke) Morrison, and Taylor Stewart; six great-grandchildren, Hallie, Zoey, and Ziva Lawson and Aerilyn and Jackson Morrison, also a fifth great-granddaughter expected to arrive in November; a brother, Steve (Teresa) Johnson; a sister-in-law, Sandy Johnson; several nephews and nieces, also many friends.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Johnson, a sister, Ruth Thompson, and an infant brother, John Paul Johnson.  

Family and friends will be received Tuesday, July 26 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at the Wilson Funeral Home-Harper Chapel, 52728 Ohio Avenue, Beallsville where funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 27 at 11am with Wayne Clark officiating.  Burial will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
