Cynthia Louise Ward, 64, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 in Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, West Virginia.
She was born November 12, 1956 in Barnesville Hospital, Barnesville, Ohio a daughter of the late Donald and Evelyn Brown Ward.
Surviving are her husband, Keith Gloor; sister-in-law, Vicky Ward; special nephew, Jordan Ward; uncle and aunts, Marvin and Betty Ward and Sondra Brown; also many cousins and friends.
Cynthia was preceded in death by grandparents, Ralph and Esther Ward and Floyd and Esther Brown; a brother, Eugene Ward; uncles and aunts, Ed and Ruth Ann Lucas, Tom and Marlene Butts, and Larry Brown; also cousins, Jay and Terry Brown.
Cynthia was very active in many events in and the around the Barnesville area, including her favorite yearly event, the Barnesville Pumpkin Festival. She enjoyed making crafts and serving as a volunteer with the mobile market and summer lunch programs. She was a member of the Batesville United Methodist Church and was also an active member of the Batesville United Methodist Women. Cynthia was a Certified Lay Minister at the Fairview United Methodist Church where she led a very active youth group.
In accordance with COVID-19 guidelines, facial coverings will be required to attend visitation at the Harper Funeral Home in Beallsville on Saturday, December 5, 2020 from 12 noon until the time of Cynthia's funeral service at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers and keepsakes, the family requests that memorial contributions to help with expenses be made to Harper Funeral Home.
