Dan Lemley, 61, of Malaga, Ohio, died Sunday, August 16, 2015 in Medical Park Hospital, Wheeling, West Virginia. He was born December 30, 1953 in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Robert, Sr. and Esther Crouch Lemley. Dan had worked as a construction worker and a coal miner most of his life and he served in the Marine Corps during the Viet Nam era. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Darlene; brothers, Harry, Charlie, Bobby, and Grant; a grandson, Dylan. Surviving are his loving wife of 39 years, Edna Tadlock Lemley; sons, Mike Lemley, Steve (Becky) Lemley and Jimmy (Shawn) Bable; a brother, Perry (MaryLou) Lemley; grandchildren, Kimber, Lakelyn, Hailey, Jameson, and Tyler. Also left to mourn his passing are many others, whom over the years Dan loved and treated as his own children and grandchildren. There will be no visitation or funeral service. To celebrate his life, a gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, August 18 from 6 PM until 8 PM at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville. Dan's family invites you to come and join with them as they honor his memory by sharing your memories.
