Doris A. Jones

Doris A. Jones, 71, of Jerusalem, Ohio died, Saturday, September 2, 2017 at her home. She was born December 27, 1945 in Barnesville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Roy and Opal Farrabee Ensley. Doris was a member of the Jerusalem Church of Christ and a retired Nursing Assistant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Goldie Ensley, also by an infant sister, Anna Mae. Surviving are her loving husband of 53 years, Jim; two children, Tammy (Rick) Leasure and Jim (Shari) Jones, all of Beallsville; a brother, John Ensley of Beallsville; a sister, Florence McVey of Wooster; five grandchildren, Ashley Leasure (Kevin Wilson), Lacey (Dale) Davis, Jimmy (Tiff) Jones, Timmy Jones (Keri Thomas), Anna Jones (Mason Gulash); six great-grandchildren, Chloe, Colby, Jake, Jarod, Colton, and Kylee. Friends and family will be received at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville, Tuesday, September 5th from 2pm until the time of the funeral service at 5pm, after which cremation will take place. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Doris' memory to the Jerusalem Church of Christ, c/o Wayne Shirbish, 51181 Moore Ridge Road, Jerusalem, Ohio 43747.
