Edwin Ray Perkins

Edwin Ray Perkins, 78, of Beallsville, Ohio died Wednesday, December 19 at his home. He was born February 22, 1940 near Alledonia, Ohio, a son of the late Rev. Richard and Pauline Taylor Perkins. Edwin was a retired employee of the Switzerland of Ohio School District and a proud US Army Veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Hoover and a brother, Ralph Perkins. Surviving are his wife of 57 years. Joyce Bauer Perkins; a daughter, Carrie Perkins (Lance Smeal) of Cottonwood, Arizona; a granddaughter, Cayla Perkins of Beallsville; a twin sister, Eleanor Craig of Beallsville; several nieces and nephews, and many friends. Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 22 at 1pm in the Beallsville Cemetery with full military honors by American Legion Post 768.
