Eugene "Shiney" "Mutt" Milhoan, 69, of Beallsville, lost his battle with cancer Sunday, April 15, 2012. He was born April 13, 1943 near Beallsville, a son of the late Harold "Mutt" and Mildred Secrest Milhoan. He was a retired employee of Ormet Corporation, Hannibal, a member of the First Christian Church, Beallsville, and he served on the Wilson Village Council. He was a member of the Moose Lodge 2247 and VFW Post #5303, both of Woodsfield, American Legion Post 768, Beallsville and American Legion Post 168, Barnesville. Shiney is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Beth Cook Milhoan; four children, Gena (Randy) Saffell of Powhatan Point, Tony (Kim) Milhoan of Woodsfield, Robert (Jamie) Randall of Powhatan Point, and Clarissa (Ryan) Yost of New Martinsville; a sister, Judy (Eugene) Frank of Lewisville; his father and mother-in-law, Jim and Evelyn Cook of Barnesville; a sister-in-law, Rose (Larry ) Grear of Barnesville; six grandchildren, Kylie, Zoey, Jeremy, Rileigh, Jossalyn, and Kaylee; also several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 AM with Wayne Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Shiney's family requests that memorial contributions may be made to 3 C's Cancer Support Group, 236 Morgantown Avenue, Barnesville, Ohio 43713 or to the Beallsville Rally for Life, c/o Beallsville High School, PO Box 262, Beallsville, Ohio 43716.
