Evelyn Mae Pittman

Evelyn Mae Pittman, 90, a resident of Woodsfield, Ohio and formerly of Beallsville, died Monday, May 7, 2018 in Barnesville Hospital. She was born March 5, 1928 in Moundsville, West Virginia, the only daughter of the late Carl and Mae Brock Ambler. Evelyn attended the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Pittman on May 17, 1984, also by her husband, Sam Pittman on January 11, 1998. Evelyn is survived by several nephews and nieces including Bobby and Linda Baker of Beallsville; great-nephew, Loron Baker; great-niece, Laura Weir; also a special friend, Ross Frye of Woodsfield. Visitation will be Thursday, May 10 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville where funeral services will be held Friday, May 11 at 11am with Wayne Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
