Florence Elizabeth McVey, 87, of Wooster, Ohio previously of the Barnesville and Beallsville area, stepped out of this world and into the arms of Jesus to be reunited with her loved ones in Heaven on February 3, 2020. She was born August 21,1932 in Beallsville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Roy and Opal Farrabee Ensley. Florence graduated from Beallsville High School and retired from Barnesville Hospital after 21 years of service. She loved taking care of her patients and helping people. But the true joy in her life came from her faith in God and her family that He blessed her with. In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death by two daughters, Mary Kay McGinnis and Lula Jean Smith; husbands, Albert Hanlon, William Pittman, William Vaness, and Jessie McVey; grandson, Sean McGinnis; great-grandson, Branson Pittman; sisters, Anna Mae Ensley, Goldie Ensley, and Doris Jones. Left to cherish her memory and carry on her legacy are two daughters, Susan Pittman Ashworth and her husband, Bob of Wooster and Pamela Pittman-Treichler Ady, and her husband, Ray of Barnesville; son-in-law, Chester McGinnis of Barnesville; eight grandchildren, Charles (Julie) Pittman of Creston, Misty (Ronnie) Starr of Wooster, Amy Pittman (Joe Barnes) of Dalton, Lori McGinnis (Bob Baker) of Barnesville, Nichole Treichler (Steve Warrick) of Barnesville, Amber Treichler (Lee Sharp) of Somerton, Bradley Blankenship of Rittman and Tyler Blankenship of Creston; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; a brother, John Ensley of Beallsville; also many nieces, nephews, and friends. Family and friends will be received Friday, February 7 from 6pm to 8pm at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville where funeral services will be held Saturday, February 8 at 1pm with Minister Josh Hetrick officiating. Interment follows in Beallsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers and keepsakes, Florence's family requests that memorial contributions be made to Harper Funeral Home, PO Box 250, Beallsville, Ohio 43716 to help with expenses.
