Frank Holley, 89, of Jerusalem, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 26, 2023 while a patient in Astoria Place, Barnesville, Ohio. He was born January 3, 1934 in Leevale, West Virginia, a son of the late James and Edna (Jarrell) Holley.
Frank was a retired Foreman at the former Ohio Valley Coal Company near Beallsville, a member of the Beallsville First Christian Church, and a member of the Switzerland of Ohio Country Club. He was a loyal WVU Mountaineers fan and enjoyed golfing. He loved gardening and watching the hummingbirds, however his greatest joy came from spending time with family, especially the grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by five sisters. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife and best friend of 53 years, Kathy (Holcomb) Holley; sons, Franklin (Michele) Holley, and David Holley; three grandchildren, Trey, Zane, and Maddyn; also a brother, Fred Holley.
Friends and family will be received at the Beallsville First Christian Church on Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 11am until the time of the funeral service at 1pm with Wayne Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
