Glenna Barbara Powell

Glenna Barbara Powell, 84, of Barnesville died Friday, July 12 in East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born December 16, 1928 near Jerusalem, a daughter of the late Clay Dean Gramlich, Sr. and Gladys Fraley Gramlich Fair. Glenna was a retired employee of Barnesville Hospital where she worked for 20 years. Her previous employers included Lotus Glass, Insurance Service Agency, and W. D. Skinner Insurance. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ben Gramlich, her step-father, Richard Fair, a sister-in-law, Nelda Gramlich, and a brother-in-law, Virgil Tisher. Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Bill Powell; a brother, Dean (Judy) Gramlich of Ozark; a sister, Mary Lou Tisher, of Lewisville; 16 nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville. Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday at 10 AM in Beallsville Cemetery.
