Grace M. Rucker

Grace M. Rucker, 96, of Beallsville, Ohio died Sunday, August 27, 2017 in the Arbors at Woodsfield. She was born February 6, 1921 near Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of the late Todd and Anna Schnegg Hendershot. Grace was a member of the Beallsville Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Rucker; two sons, Donald Rucker and David Rucker; a grandson, Eric Rucker; two brothers, Lowell "Bud" Hendershot and Clyde Hendershot; also by a sister Ruth Twarek. Surviving are a son, Larry (Nancy) Rucker; a daughter, Joyce (Doug) Stein; a daughter-in-law, Terry Rucker; Grace's twin sister, Gladys McDougal; a granddaughter, Angela (Joe) Gordon; a great-grandson, Alex Gordon; two step great-granddaughters, Jessica and Kelly Gordon. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 30 from 5pm to 8pm at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville where funeral services will be held Thursday, August 31 at 11am with Keith Ball officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
