Hazel May Pittman, 92, of Barnesville, formerly of Beallsville died Wednesday, July 06, 2011 in Barnesville Hospital. She was born December 8, 1918 near Beallsville a daughter of the late Arther and Bearyl Miller Pittman. She was a member of the Beallsville Church of Christ and she had been a farmer all her life. In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by a sister Dortha Baker, a brother, Elmer Pittman; also three infant siblings, Helen, Roy, and Lawrence Pittman. Surviving are four sisters, Nellie Englehaupt of Canton, Eva Decker of Ravenna, Grace (Wayne) Baker of Albuquerque, NM, and Betty (David) Mangione of Newark; a brother, Ruel (Carol) Pittman of Johnstown, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 PM at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
