Hilda Mae Markley, 77, a resident of Emerald Pointe Health and Rehabilitation Center, Barnesville, Ohio and formerly of Jerusalem, Ohio died Wednesday, May 2, 2018 in Barnesville Hospital. She was born September 27, 1940 in Cameron, Ohio, a daughter of the late John and Mamie Ady Holiday. She attended the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, Hilda was preceded in death by three brothers, Luther Holiday, Eugene Holiday, and Sheridan Holiday. Surviving are four daughters, Connie (Robert) Ramsey of Bedford, Ohio, Darlene (Gary) Lamon of Parma, Ohio, Deborah (Brian) Kurtz of Cleveland, Ohio, and Theresa Johnson of Logan, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Joshua, Robert, Jeffrey, Kenneth, Jessica, Alicia, Tiffany, and Christopher; three great grandchildren; a brother, Paul Holiday of Jerusalem, and a sister, Linda (Bobby) Baker of Beallsville; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville Friday, May 4, 2018 from 4pm until the time of the funeral service at 7pm with Pastor Jeff Horner presiding. Interment will be in Cameron Cemetery, Cameron, Ohio.
