Irvin A. Crawford, 96, a former resident of Jerusalem, Ohio died Friday, October 7, 2016 in Emerald Pointe Nursing and Rehab Center, Barnesville, Ohio. He was born June 4, 1920 near Miltonsburg, a son of the late Edward and Mary Ruble Crawford. Irvin was a retired farmer and also a retired employee of the former United Dairy in Barnesville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Carpenter Crawford on March 30, 2002; a son-in-law, Dick Knuchel; a grandson, Billy Joe; a brother, Fred Crawford; and a sister, Belle Mowery; a great great granddaughter, Maddie. Surviving are two sons, Floyd (Linda) Crawford of Pickerington and Rick Crawford of Beallsville; two daughters, Shirley Knuchel and Patsy (Fritz) Pack, both of Jerusalem; a sister, Hilda Crawford of Lima; seven grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday from noon until the time of the funeral service at 2 PM at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville. Interment will follow in Jerusalem Cemetery.
