James H. Gabel

James Gabel, 70, a resident of Cumberland Point Care Center, St. Clairsville and formerly of Beallsville died Thursday, August 30, 2012 in Wheeling Medical Park Hospital. He was born October 30, 1941 in Belmont County, a son of the late Arthur "Pete" and Julia Vinskovich Gabel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Andrews and a brother, Sammy Gabel. Surviving are a brother, Arthur "Pete" Gabel of Beallsville; two sisters, Linda Baker of Beallsville and Sally (Randy) Hashman of Barnesville; six nieces and nephews, Julie, Jay, Joseph, Jake, Melissa, and Kathy. The family will receive friends briefly Saturday, September 01 beginning at 10 AM at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville with graveside funeral services to be held at 11 AM in Beallsville Cemetery.
