JoAnn Scott, 82, of Sissonville, West Virginia, formerly of Beallsville, Ohio, died Sunday, February 4, 2018 at home with her family after a long illness. She was born July 31, 1935 in Captina, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Chester and Frances Frazier Wheatley. In addition to her parents, her beloved husband, James Scott, her brother, Charles "Chuck" Wheatley, and her grandson, Craig Laurent greeted JoAnn in Heaven. Surviving are her sister, Barbara Quirk of Antioch, Illinois, her children: Kathleen and Frank Hall, of Sissonville, West Virginia, Cheryl Blackwell of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Bruce Zirckel of Cross Lanes, West Virginia, and Keith and Shelly Scott of Foster, West Virginia; grandchildren: Jason Hall, Aaron Hall, Patrick Blackwell, Ann Blackwell, Sarah Zirckel, Meri Zirckel, Steven Hosey, John Hosey, Cindy Hosey Harford, Dustin Vance, and Emily Scott; three nephews: Darrell Quirk, David Quirk, Jeff Quirk ,and nineteen great-grandchildren, all of whom will hold JoAnn in their hearts until they all meet again. Visitation will be Monday, February 12 at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville from 11 am until the time of the funeral service at 1pm with Minister Val Roxby officiating. Interment follows in Beallsville Cemetery.
