Joe McFrederick

Joe McFrederick, 68, of Jerusalem died Saturday, January 21, 2012 at his home. He was born April 22, 1943 near Beallsville a son of the late Melville and Laura Reed McFrederick. He was a retired millwright at the former CONALCO plant in Hannibal, Ohio. In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amber; a sister, Mary Ellen Howell; a nephew, Charlie Schlosser; and a niece, Kathy Howell. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Ocie Pierce McFrederick; three children, Mancel (Katie) McFrederick of Beallsville, Bobbi McFrederick of Woodsfield, and Thya Grelles (Gary Quillin) of Jerusalem; two brothers, Reed (Sandra) McFrederick of Jerusalem, and Rod McFrederick (Helen Doudna) of Beallsvile; two sisters, Annie (Donnie) Dillon of Jerusalem, and Miriam (Delbert) Cornett of Zanesville; eight grandchildren: Laset, Miranda, Levi, Tamara, Joseph, Nicholas, Christian, and Tony; five great-grandchildren: Makenah, Somiah, Kaden, Kohen, and Ketterman. Visitation will be held Monday 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 AM with Rev. Richard Wilson officiating. Interment follows in Jerusalem Cemetery. Joe's family requests that memorial contributions be made to Gas Cards, Inc., c/o Shirley Brown, 48397 Keylor Hill Road, Woodsfield, Ohio 43793.
