Julia Gabel

Julia Gabel, 94, a resident of the Barnesville Health Care Center and formerly of Beallsville, died Sunday, August 14, 2011 at the Center. She was born May 15, 1917 in Belmont County, a daughter of the late Samuel and Pauline Vinskovich. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; a daughter, Nancy Andrews, and a son, Sammy Gabel; four brothers, Andy, Tony, Ziggy, and Bruno Vinskovich; also one sister, Helen Wysocski. Surviving are her children, Arthur Gabel and Linda Baker, both of Beallsville, James, of St. Clairsville, and Sally (Randy) Hashman of Barnesville; six grandchildren, Julie, Jay, Joseph, Jake, Melissa, and Kathy; nine great-grandchildren, Kay Lynn, Joseph, Austin, Hailie, Susan, Cindy, Christa, Mary, and Sammy. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 11 AM in the Beallsville Cemetery.
