Keith Eugene Norris

Keith Eugene “Pi” Norris, 73, of Beallsville (Wilson Community)  died Friday, December 25 at his home. He was born April 27, 1947 near the community of Ozark, a son of the late Floyd and Celestia McCammon Norris.

Keith was a retired employee of the Ohio Valley Coal Corporation having worked in the mining industry for 46 years.  He was a graduate of Beallsville High School, Class of 1965 and Ohio University, Class of 1970.  He was a Christian by faith and he was a 35 year member of Sunsbury Lodge #362, F & AM. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister,  Joetta; his father-in-law and mother-in-law,  James and Agnes Alonge  Mitchell; two sisters-in-law, Donna Bewley Mitchell and Debbie Mitchell Remo; also a brother-in-law, Chris Remo.  Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Darlene Mitchell Norris; daughters, Becky Norris (Bob Hibbits) of Beallsville, Laura Norris of Missouri, and Natalie Norris of Alaska; two grandsons, Dustin Mitchell Norris and David Hibbits, both of Beallsville; special grandchildren, Madison, Chase, and Ava Rose of Martins Ferry; two sisters, Linda (Charles) Schaefer of Beallsville (Ozark Community) and Diana Norris of Cambridge; two brothers-in-law, Jay Mitchell of Belmont and Paul (Kay) Mitchell of Barnesville; several nieces and nephews and many friends.

According to Keith’s wishes, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at a time of the family's choosing.  To help with expenses, memorial contributions may be made to Keith’s family, ℅ Darlene Norris, 52366 East Drive, Beallsville, Ohio 43716.
