Larry Eugene Brock

Larry Eugene Brock, 77, of Beallsville, Ohio died Friday, October 29, 2021 in the Stellar Care Center, Woodsfield, Ohio. He was born November 5, 1943 in Beallsville, a son of the late Charley and Mary Kimple Brock.

Throughout the years, Larry had been employed as a coal miner at the former Y & O Coal Corporation, Beallsville and a janitor with the Switzerland of Ohio School system. He was also a former member of the Beallsville Volunteer Fire Department.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Eddy Brock. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Lora Brock of Woodsfield; a brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Grace Brock of South Carolina; a sister, Sharon Smith of Woodsfield;  a granddaughter and her husband, Cameron and Derick Powell of Pomeroy, Ohio.

According to Larry’s wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers and keepsakes to help with expenses, memorial contributions may be made to Harper Funeral Home, PO Box 250, Beallsville, OH 43716.
