Leroy Lucas, 88, of Alledonia, Ohio died Thursday, November 19, 2015 at his home. He was born February 8, 1927 near Alledonia, a son of the late Howard and Stella Dornon Lucas. He was a retired employee of the Ohio Valley Coal Company #6 Mine, however in his heart, he never actually retired from his favorite vocation which was farming. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Flora Hartline Lucas; two sons, Jerry Lucas and Randall Lucas; four sisters, Marjorie Crum, Flora Mae Datkuliak, Georgia Myers, and Shirley Perkins. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Nina Lee Phillips Lucas; his children, Russell Lucas, Mark (Dee) Lucas, Beth (John) Hill, all of Alledonia; step-daughters, Diana Parker of Grove City and Vicky (Neil) Miller of Beallsville; daughters-in-law, Linda Lucas of Powhatan and Dixie Lucas of Beallsville; a brother, Robert (Betty) Lucas of Somerton; two sisters, Ruth Schumacher and Sharlene LeBerth, both of Canton; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville where funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11 AM with Jim Russ officiating. Interment will follow in Belmont Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Leroy's family requests that memorial contributions may be made to Gas Cards, Inc.,
