Lewis L. Bilyeu, 86, of Beallsville, Ohio (Ozark Community) died Tuesday, May 31, 2016 in the Arbors of Woodsfield. He was born March 31, 1930 near Ozark, a son of the late Edward Lee and Grace Ophelia Carpenter Bilyeu. Lewis was a retired oil field worker and a member of the Ozark Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine "Kitty" Stine Bilyeu; a son and a daughter-in-law, Dana and Susan Bilyeu; a grandson, Steve Bilyeu, a granddaughter, Bailey Norris; a great grandson, Ryder Beardsley; also a brother, Dick Bilyeu. Surviving are five children, Candace (Anthony) Patterson of Beallsville, Kevin (Pat) Bilyeu of Nashport, Greg (Carol) Bilyeu of Lewisville, Robin (Chuck) Norris of Chandlersville, and Chris (Martha) Bilyeu of Beallsville; a brother, Harold Bilyeu of Beallsville; 18 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren with one great-grandson due to arrive in late July; also a great great-grandchild due in December. According to Lewis's wishes, there will be no visitation; an inurnment service will be held Saturday, June 25 at 9:00 AM in the Ozark Cemetery with Micah Fuchs officiating.
