Lloyd Kenneth Bowers, Jr.

Lloyd "Ken" Bowers, Jr., 68, of Beallsville, Ohio died Saturday, May 07, 2016 in The James Cancer Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. He was born March 17, 1948 in Akron, Ohio, a son of the the late Lloyd and Natalie Munsie Bowers. He was a retired coal miner and an avid stamp and coin collector. In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Miki Shery Bowers in 1978; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Edith and Earl Johnson. Surviving are his wife, Debra Thompson Bowers; four children, Lloyd (Beth) Kenneth Bowers, III of Columbus, Patrick (Holly) Bowers of Beallsville, Natalie Bowers (Donald Cline, Jr.) of Summerfield, and John Bowers of Beallsville; six grandchildren, Brandon, Alissa, Nicole, Wesley, Devin, and Allyson; two sisters, Madeleine (James) Shrewsbury and Sharon (Richard) Hagan, both of Beallsville; ten nieces and nephews, Michael, Bobby, Cathy, Terry, Richey, Cristi, Danny, Jamie, Jeff, and Jenny. Visitation will be held Monday, May 09 from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 PM with Wayne Clark officiating. Burial follows in Beallsville Cemetery.
