Martha Jane Brown

Martha Jane Brown, 67, of Beallsville died Friday, November 11, 2011 in Wetzel County Hospital, New Martinsville, West Virginia. She was born March 7, 1944 near Kingwood, West Virginia, a daughter of the late James and Stella Sypolt Riley. She was a lover of all animals, especially her Chihuahuas and her cats and she enjoyed feeding birds. In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by a son, Larry Kisner, also by a sister. Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Daniel Brown; six children, Jane Smouse, Sharon Brown, Virginia Ann Alabran, Edna Price, Linda Gatten, and Sally May; two step-daughters, Belinda and Debra Brown; 25 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. Friends and family may call Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 AM with Jeff Rich officiating. Burial will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
