Mildred "Boots" Snedeker

Mildred "Boots" Snedeker, 81, of Beallsville, Ohio formerly of Powhatan Point, Ohio, and Glendale, West Virginia died Monday, December 23, 2019 in Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, West Virginia. She was born Wednesday, October19, 1938 in Powhatan Point, a daughter of the late Russell B. and Adda W. Kanzigg Ramsay. Mildred worked for many years as a store clerk for Brubaker's in Steinersville. In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Snedeker; brothers and sisters, Vernon Ramsay, Calvin "Bud" Ramsay, Dale "Tom Cat" Ramsay, Maude "Toot" Atkinson, George Ramsay, Betty Armann, Glen "Buck," Ramsay, an infant brother; a nephew, Jerry "Jug" Armann; two great-nephews, Robbie Palmer and Chase Ramsay. Left to mourn her passing are two step-children, Larry Snedeker of Benwood and Lavada (Bob) Niven of Wheeling; many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces, including a special great-nephew, Dustin Shriver and great- niece, Terra Shriver; also a great-great nephew, Declan Shriver. Visitation will be Thursday, December 26 from 1pm to 8pm at Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville where funeral services will be held Friday, December 27 at 1pm with Mildred's nephew, Rusty Atkinson officiating. Interment follows in Powhatan Cemetery.
