Nettie F. Decker

Nettie Decker, 96, of Pataskala, Ohio, formerly of Beallsville, Ohio died Saturday, May 27, 2017 in Tuscany Gardens Care Center, Pataskala. She was born October 24, 1920 in Lore City, a daughter of the late Samuel and Lula Jane Loy Clark. Nettie was a member of Weyer Chapter #515, OES and the Pythian Sisters. In addition to her parents, Nettie was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard; a son, Lonnie; two grandchildren, Terra and Christopher; a son-in-law, Don Young; a daughter-in-law, Kathleen Durrant Decker; also by three sisters. Surviving are her children, Sheldon Eggleston of Canton; Nancy (Ray) Reames of Tuppers Plains; Bonnie Young of Pataskala; John (Carol) Decker of Millersport; Connie (Randy) Louden of Beallsville; and Dannie Decker of Zanesville; a sister, Ruth Miller of Canton; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandson. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville with Eastern Star services to be conducted at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1pm with Wayne Clark officiating. Burial follows in Beallsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Nettie's family requests that memorial contributions be made to "Rally for Life," c/o Box 250, Beallsville, OH 43716.
