Pamela Jo “Pam” Jones, 60, of Jerusalem, Ohio passed away peacefully at her home with her family near on Friday, March 3, 2023. She was born August 27, 1962 in Barnesville, Ohio, a daughter of Karen Sue Milhoan Marshall and the late James Herbert Hershberger.
Pam enjoyed cooking and worked for many years as a cook at various restaurants throughout the area. She loved gardening and being surrounded by her family. She will be remembered by all who were fortunate to have known her, for her kind heart and the quiet joy she found in helping others. Pam was an active member of the Woodsfield Moose Lodge #2247, the Woodsfield Eagles #2302, the Woodsfield VFW, and the Beallsville American Legion Post 768 Auxiliary.
In addition to her father, James Hershberger, Pam was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Madison Daniels, and a special friend, Vaughn Long. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Karen Milhoan Marshall, of Woodsfield; a son, James (Kari) Hershberger of Stafford, two daughters, Tabitha (Ray) Baker of Beallsville, and Jennifer Daniels (Leslie Atherton) of Jerusalem; a sister, Rita Wiley of Woodsfield; 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren with another great-grandchild on the way; a nephew and a niece; three great-nephews and a great-niece; also many friends and extended family members.
Visitation will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home - Harper Chapel, Beallsville, Ohio, Monday, March 6 from 11am until 1pm at which time there will be a brief service by Beallsville American Legion Post 768 Auxiliary. Following the Auxiliary service, a time of sharing memories and stories will begin. Family and friends will be invited to honor Pam’s memory by sharing their memories.
Burial will follow in Beallsville Cemetery, Beallsville, Ohio.
