Patrick J. Carlin

Patrick J. "Pat" Carlin, 79, of Beallsville, Ohio died Tuesday, July 18, 2017 in the Arbors of Woodsfield. He was born February 9, 1938 in Smithfield, West Virginia, a son of the late Pat and Cora Myers Carlin. Pat was a retired employee of the former ORMET Primary Aluminum near Hannibal, Ohio, a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of American Legion Post 768. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Leo, and four sisters, Patricia, Mary, Margaret, and Katherine. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Catherine Lucido Carlin; a son and daughter-in-law, Patrick, Jr. "Skip" and Tonda Carlin of Jerusalem, Ohio; three step-grandchildren, Tabitha (Brandon) Ashwood, Christopher Clary, and Caitlin Clary. Visitation will be held Friday from 4pm to 8pm at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11am with Robert Fraley officiating. Interment follows in Powhatan Cemetery with full military honors by American Legion Post 768.
