Peggy Headley

Peggy Headley, 74, of St. Clarirsville, Ohio, formerly of Beallsville, Ohio died Tuesday, March 3, 2020 in Cumberland Pointe Care Center, St. Clairsville. She was born August 5, 1945 in Barnesville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Glen and Lorena Burkhart Mayberry. Peggy was a Librarian with the Switzerland of Ohio School District where she had been employed for over 26 years. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and also a member of the Beallsville EMS. In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Mick Headley and a sister, Eileen Doudna. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Pam Headley of Lebanon, Ohio and her daughter and son-in-law, Dena and Loren Ricer of Belmont, Ohio; four grandchildren, Adam and Andrew Headley and Raegan and Logan Ricer; sisters, Marty (Paul) McCloud of Tallmadge, Ohio, Jean Baker of Quaker City, Ohio, Rita Baker of Barnesville, Ohio, Lou Burkhart of Woodsfield, Ohio; a brother, Bill Mayberry of Woodsfield, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Shirley (Carl) Gilbow of Tallmadge, Ohio and Mary Lou Snider of Akron, Ohio; several nieces and nephews, including Don and Ruth Headley of Beallsville; also her extended family, the Datkuliak's of Beallsville. Visitation will be Friday, March 6 from 4pm to 8pm at the Harper Funeral Home Beallsville where funeral services will be held Saturday, March 7 at 1pm with Wayne Clark officiating. Burial follows in Beallsville Cemetery. Eastern Star services will be conducted Friday at the funeral home at 7:45pm.
