Randy "Rudy" Palmer

Randy "Rudy" Palmer, 60, of Beallsville, Ohio died in the early morning hours of Saturday, August 20, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born October 11, 1955 in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late Newell Palmer and Roxie Marlin Palmer. Rudy operated his own lawn care service; he was a member of the East Sunbury Baptist Church and the Beallsville Volunteer Fire Department. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob and Paul Palmer; a sister, Vickie Palmer; his step-father, Charles "Sonny" Palmer; and his special nephew, Justin Palmer. Surviving are his loving companion of over 30 years, Hilda Perkins; two brothers, Skip (Frances) Palmer of Brookwood, AL and Joe Palmer; three sisters, Susan (Bill) Nesbitt of Barnesville, Robin (Stoney) Stonebreaker of Beallsville, and Sherri (John) Wells of Mt. Vernon; nieces and nephews, Kayla, Cody, Rhonda, Bobby, Renee, Hayley, Phaedra, and Sabastian. Rudy was a friend to all who knew him and his smile will be missed throughout the entire community. Visitation will be held Monday from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville where funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 am with Pastor Max Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made in Rudy's name to the Beallsville VFD, PO Box 68, Beallsville, Ohio 43716 or to East Sunsbury Baptist Church, 50595 Bolon Ridge Road, Beallsville, Ohio 43716.
