Richard "Dickie" Brown, II, 57, of Beallsville, Ohio died Friday, February 26, 2021 in Barnesville Hospital, Barnesville, Ohio. He was born April 26, 1963 in Barnesville Hospital, a son of Sharon Baker and the late Richard Brown.
Dickie was a handyman in and around the community. He was always eager to help others, whether they needed help with car repairs, running errands, mowing grass; whatever the need, Dickie could be counted on to help.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a half-brother, Mark Brown. Surviving are his mother, Sharon of Beallsville; his girlfriend, Shirley Thomas of Beallsville; one son, Matthew Brown (Ciara Barnes) of Jerusalem; two daughters, Kayla Brown of Shadyside and Rachelle Brown (Jeremy Blackstone) of Woodsfield; a sister, Kelly (Randy) Davis of Beallsville; two brothers, Scott Brown and Chris Brown both of Beallsville; his 4-legged baby, "Runt," eight grandchildren with one more on the way; several nieces and nephews; also many friends.
In keeping with COVID-19 mandates, face masks and social distancing are required for visitation at Harper Funeral Home on Monday, March 1 from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon with Wayne Clark officiating.
