Ruth Ann Howell

Ruth Ann Howell, 92, of Beallsville died Tuesday, April 23, 2013 in the Monroe County Care Center, Woodsfield. She was born April 11, 1921 near New Martinsville, WV, a daughter of the late John and Lucinda Kirkman West. She was a retired employee of Barnesville Hospital and a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Howell, Sr. also by nine brothers and sisters. Surviving are two sons, Arthur J. Howell of Tiffin and Harry (Jennifer) Howell, Jr. of Beallsville; one brother, Arville (Marilyn) West; three sisters, Florence Holland, Mary Lu Riley, and Hazel Howell; six grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville from 6 PM until the time of the service at 8 PM with Jeff Rich officiating. Graveside services will be held in Beallsville Cemetery Friday morning at 10 AM.
