Sam Majors, 45, of Jerusalem, Ohio passed away suddenly Monday, August 9, 2021 at Wheeling Hospital where he was employed. He was born May 13, 1976 in Bellaire, Ohio, the first-born child of Jennings "JB" and Connie Kirkbride Majors. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Chlo Kirkbride and Jennings and Jean Majors.
Sam was a 1994 graduate of Beallsville High School. He will be remembered as kind, funny, and giving; it was one of his wishes to be an organ donor.
Left to cherish his memory in addition to his parents, Connie and "JB," are a daughter, Avery and a son, Peyton; a sister and brother-in-law, Lacey and Ty Burkhart; a brother and sister-in-law, Jubba and Becky Majors; his girlfriend, Christa Antill-Houston; nieces and nephews, Shaylee and Bryson Burkhart and Wyatt and Walker Majors; his fur baby, "Peepers," also many friends.
To celebrate Sam's life, a gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, August 16 from 2pm to 6pm at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville. Sam's family invites friends and extended family to join them as they honor his memory by sharing their memories beginning at 6pm.
In keeping with Sam's giving spirit, his family requests that in lieu of flowers and keepsakes, memorial contributions be made to "Crossed Paws Animal Shelter," 41383 Stonehouse Road, Woodsfield, Ohio 43793.
