Sandra "Sandy" Barker Wilson

It is with great sadness that the family of Sandra "Sandy" Kay Bolon Barker Wilson announces her passing on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at the age of 78. A resident of Somerton for many years, at the time of her death she was living with her daughter, Joyce. Sandra was born November 25, 1941, a daughter of the late Raymond L. and Pauline E. Moore Bolon of Jerusalem. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary #168 and VFW Auxiliary #2792. Many will remember Sandra for her love of Country Western Music. She was an avid bass guitar player and square dance caller for many years. She never missed the opportunity to hoedown right up through the last year of her life. Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert C. Wilson; brothers Donald Bolon, William Bolon, and John "Jack" Bolon. Surviving are her children; Tammy (TJ) Jefferis, Russell (Dawn) Barker, Joy (Wayne) Duvall, Joyce Barker, David Barker, Terri (Troy) Cross, John (Deanna) Barker, and Kayla (Tom) Grim; one step-daughter, Shawna, one step-son, Shane; 20 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; also the father of her seven eldest children, Clifford "Buddy" Barker. Family and friends are invited to attend graveside services Wednesday, September 30 at 1pm in Jerusalem Cemetery.
