Stanley Dean Jarrett

Stanley Dean Jarrett, 78, of Beallsville, Ohio passed from this life on Sunday, November 15, 2015 in the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. He was born April 2, 1937 near Belmont, Ohio, a son of the late Charles and Thelma Walters Jarrett. Stanley was a retired employee of the former ORMET Corporation near Hannibal, Ohio, a member of the First Christian Church, Beallsville, and an avid farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Jarrett. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Wanda Jarrett; four children, Kevin (Marci) Jarrett of Newark, Rick (Traci) Jarrett of Beallsville, Julie (Steve) Mellinger of Belmont, and Terry (Tara) Jarrett of Beallsville; nine grandchildren, Ashley (Larry), Derek, Tori, Jarod (Emily), Kelci, Teryn, Kaleb, Dawson, and Spencer; four great-grandchildren, Georgia, Madison, Avah, an Ariah; a sister, Barbara Bittinger Saunders of Jacobsburg; also his devoted companion, Daisy. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville where funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11 AM with Wayne Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery. To honor Stanley's legacy of giving, his family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gas Cards, Inc.
