Susan Marie Dornon

Susan Marie Dornon, 69, a resident of Astoria Place, Barnesville, Ohio and formerly of Alledonia, Ohio passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022 in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia. Susan was born May 17, 1952 near Alledonia, a daughter of Glenna Lee Lindsey Dornon and the late Nelson Dornon.

She was a member of the former Belmont Ridge Christian Church and was a retired registered dietician and substitute teacher. She also tutored many children and adults over the years.

Surviving in addition to her mother, Glenna Lee Lindsey Dornon, of Barnesville (Somerton Community), are her siblings, Deborah (Bill) Wain, Walter (Barbara) Dornon, Victoria Dornon (Mike Datkuliak), Donald (Kathy) Dornon, and John (Linda) Dornon; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; also her special friends, James and Marie Pyles and their family. 

Friends and family are invited to a memorial service at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville, Tuesday, February 1 at 1pm where Minister Joshua Hetrick will offer words of comfort. Inurnment will take place in Beallsville Cemetery at a time of the family’s choosing.
