Vickie Lee (Mason) Williams

Vickie Lee Williams, 70, of Woodsfield, Ohio (Miltonsburg Community) passed away while a patient in Wheeling Hospital on December 10, 2024.  She was born in Cameron, West Virginia on August 14, 1954, a daughter of the late Robert and Vivian (Gray) Mason.

Vickie was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker; she loved her family and friends dearly.  She enjoyed spending time at her cabin at the lake and she was especially happy when the neighboring children would come to visit.   It was a well-known fact that Vickie kept her freezer full of popsicles for any children who dropped by.  Listening to Bluegrass music and sitting by the campfire were two of her favorite pastimes.  Vickie made friends easily and all were welcome to sit and reminisce by her campfire.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanette Williams on December 3, 1993. 

Left to cherish her memory are her companion and husband, Charles “Roy” Williams; two daughters, Shelly Springer and Debra Williams; two grandchildren, Seth Springer and Hannah Louden; two brothers, Rick (Debbie) Mason and Randy (Roxanne) Mason; two sisters, Susie (Dave) Mason Pauley and Cyndi (Mark) Sabo; also many friends and extended family members.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the Wilson Funeral Home - Harper Chapel, Beallsville from 11am until the time of the funeral service at 1pm with Wayne Clark officiating.  Burial will follow in the Beallsville Cemetery.
