Violet Margarett Miller, 94, formerly of Cain Ridge Road, Clarington, Ohio died Tuesday, April 11, 2017 in the Monroe County Care Center, Woodsfield. She was born January 22, 1923 in Clarington, a daughter of the late Joseph and Emma Fankhauser McDougal. She graduated from Clarington High School and earned an associate's degree in business. Violet was retired from the former Ormet Corporation, was a member of the former Zion United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women's Association, the Switzer Homemakers, and the Professional Secretaries International. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard E. Miller; a brother, Bill McDougal; a sister, Dorothy Schnegg; and a granddaughter, Valerie Louise LaFaber. Surviving are three daughters, Beverly (Jerry.) Everhart of Findlay, Ohio, Deanna (Rev. Donald) LaFaber of Martinsburg, West Virginia, and Jan (Clarke) Haren of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Josh (Jennifer) LaFaber and Danielle Haren (Paxston) Mosier.; great grandchildren, Christian Witt, Gabriel, Eric and Anthony LaFaber, Haley, Tayor, and Devin Mosier; several nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville, Friday from 12 noon until the time of the funeral service at 2 PM with Rev. Madlynne Webber officiating. Interment follows in Zion Cemetery, Cain Ridge Road, Clarington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Cemetery Association,
