W. Keith "Ma" Perkins, 72, of Alledonia, died Saturday, February 23, 2013 in the Barnesville Health Care Center. He was born March 20, 1940 near Alledonia, Ohio, a son of the late Kenneth and Ruth Day Perkins. Keith was an employee of the former Ohio Ferro Alloys plant near Powhatan Point and a retired bus driver for the Switzerland of Ohio School District; he was a member of the Armstrong Mills United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Mark Erchak. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Linda Blakley Perkins; three daughters, Annette Erchak of Jerusalem, Shelly (John) Russ of Amanda, and Melodie (Bob) Hall of Barnesville; seven grandchildren, Nick (Teri), Antony, Alex, and Darien Erchak, Joshua and Sara Russ, and Benjamin Hall; two brothers, Merle Perkins of Canal Fulton and Marvin (Alice) Perkins of Beallsville; a sister, Wilma Paknik of Shadyside; his faithful companion, Elda; several nieces and nephews; also many wonderful friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 PM with Pastor Rusty Atkinson officiating.
