Wanda Geraldine Perkins

W. Geraldine Perkins, 97, a resident of the Monroe County Care Center, Woodsfield, Ohio and formerly of Beallsville died Thursday, October 27, 2016 in the Center. She was born June 24, 1919 in Belmont County, a daughter of the late Robert and Nancy Graham Crooks. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by an infant son, Floyd Wensel Perkins, her first husband, Floyd Perkins and her second husband, Kenneth Perkins; two step-sons, Keith Perkins and Merle Perkins. Surviving are a very special niece, Eleanor Perkins Craig; a step-son, Marvin (Alice) Perkins; a step-daughter, Wilma Paknik; a step-daughter-in-law, Linda Perkins; also her Monroe County Care Center "family" who cared for her with compassion and dignity. Visitation will be held Friday from 5 PM to 8 PM at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville where funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1 PM with Rev. Richard Wilson officiating. Interment follows in Beallsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Geraldine's family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Beallsville VFD, PO Box 68, Beallsville, Ohio 43716.
